DANIEL JR.

Trumpet/Music Director

Anthony Daniel, hailing from Oxon Hill, MD, is the chief arranger/musical director for DuPont Brass and one of its original members. He has been playing trumpet since the age of 13. After his first year of high school, Anthony was introduced to the music notation software, Sibelius, by his high school band director, Walter Harley. He began writing short pieces for his high school marching band and continued to hone and master his skills while attending Howard University--arranging pieces for the marching and concert bands, and for the "new and innovative group" that would become DuPont Brass. Some of Anthony's musical influences include, but are not limited to, Kanye West, Miles Davis, Jay Z, Earth Wind & Fire and Pharrell Williams.
